My thoughts on Creation, Perfection, Choice

Love, so pure, so powerful, decided to not be without someone, to not be alone. All knowing, Love, who we will call God, decided to create a world so beautiful, so perfect that it was beyond anything that God had ever done. God created all the galaxies, the universes, and they were lovely, but God knew that what was needed was a living, breathing world, one that would grow and prosper, one that was beautiful and would love God back. But returned Love
could not be forced, or it wouldn't be love. So God created the earth and all it's fullness, and it was very good and perfect. God created plants and animals to keep them controlled, and then God created the most precious being, in God's image made of body, soul and spirit. Then God breathed love's living breath into him, Adam. And as God waited for Adam to desire someone for himself, just as the animals each had their own kind, then and only then did God provide a woman for Adam, whom he named for himself. All knowing, God knew that Adam would see the perfect world that God created and knew that he would love God back, but given the choice, would he really? There wasn't any choice in the garden of Eden! God knew that the two were bound by the perfectness and knew no other way. Like androids built to know only what their builder computes into their brains. This was not God's desire, but rather that they love out of choice. So, God planted a choice in the garden. One choice, one 'do not'. Only one! Death, disquised as knowledge & pleasure. But, all knowing, God knew that Adam and Eve would choose the wrong choice. And yet Love would not let go, and perfected a way to give them another choice to make. One choice. Life, disquised as a man & a saviour. That "Way" was "Love" coming down, and taking on our human form, carrying with him, God's Holy Spirit. We needed another choice, another chance. God needed our good choice. To love with out fear, to love God for the sake of love itself. Because, just as we desire those we love, to love us without obligation, so God desires the same. Only then could creation be perfect and God's family be complete. So this is why 'choice' was planted in the garden of perfection. And the choice that Adam and Eve made, and what the consequences that followed means to us. Their physical bodies died, and ours are dying too. Yes, we know right from wrong now, some of us listen to that inner battle, and sometimes the good wins over the bad, but we being NOT God, we could never be perfect any longer. Our innocence could not be our ticket any longer to commune with God. Perfect Love (God) had no business with imperfect sin, otherwise God would not be perfect love. Justice required a sacrifice, because there had to be a payment for the wrong choice made, or why have a choice? So, death was the payment, but because of imperfect sin, separation from God was the worst possible consequence. So, back to the 'other' choice. God prepared Himself a perfect body, choosing an innocent vessel, Mary, to conceive a child. An only begotten son. The second Adam. The One and only one who without any sin of His own to pay a debt for, He could pay OUR debt of death and be the bridge between God and ourselves. So that again, we could walk and talk with Him in the cool of the day in the garden of perfection. Yes, because perfection desires justice, it is Just for the self sacrifice of Gods perfect son as payment for our sins. The only possible way out. And it must be once and for all. For all of those who had died, who were dying and those who will die. While we are yet sinners, God's own flesh and blood died for all our sins. But why him you ask? Because He was perfect, the only one who could be raised again from the dead, because of a perfect life he did not have any sin of his own to pay for. You say that's fine? Then we have nothing to choose? No, as the first Adam chose, so must we. The son came yes as a gift, but like any gift, it must be received first. So, a choice to receive God's gift of His Son is required. You may leave the gift at the door. You may say that you do not need to make a choice, after all Adam is the one who chose, not you. But Adam made a choice for all his descendants. You are one of them. You say it is not Just, that we should have to pay for Adams choice? Well, in a way, we don't except for the physical part. All these imperfection passed down through the generations, have cursed our bodies. It has happened without God. Adam's choice has brought imperfection upon our children. Our spirits are in jeapardy of being eternally without God. How do you say we know this? Because God is perfect, there had to be no doubt as to what was required for us to be perfect (in our spirits). The guidelines are set forth in the 10 commandments of God. Just as God had set guidelines for Adam and Eve in the garden, God had made a clear definition of what was expected of humanity in order to communicate with God to a certain degree. The commandments had to be set in place otherwise the line between good and evil was very, very dim. Sin had to be defined, otherwise humanity could excuse everything evil as ignorance. Now there was no excuse, now Justice was in place. Okay, so now our guidelines were set in place. Who could follow them completely? How could it be done? There was no one who could follow them 100% of 100% of the time. Even our thoughts are evil and our hearts betraying. Thus not only are we to choose to receive the gift, but now we must also repent of our evil thoughts and ways. For if our hearts are fickle, and we greedily think we can tear open the gift and take the contents without thought of whom the gift came from, we are mistaken. A gift is not a gift, unless the Giver is acknowledged. So, the Creator of the Universes, of all that exists and will exist, Perfect Love, requires Love in return for the link of communication to be restored. God will meet you half way, but you must come the rest of the way. You must desire God in order to receive God's gift. Be sorry for your sins, be thankful for God's gift, with a sincere heart and with an understanding of God's gift that was so very precious. Now, you have God's gift in your hands... you've received the gift. Now to open it. The gift has a name, and his name is Jesus. To open and discover what is inside, you must learn about who Jesus is. You must get to know Him and what it is that Jesus means to you in your personal life. To get to know Jesus, you must ask Him into your heart. Just as when you take a precious necklace out of a gift box, you place it around your neck, for all to see. So, you must invite Jesus in and place Him in your heart, where a light will shine out for all to see. He in turn, places a precious part of Himself in you too, He is called His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will have fellowship with your own spirit. That way He is in us and we are in Him and God ties us all together. Just as our spirit ties our body and soul together, so His spirit ties all of us together as well. You say what is the difference between our soul and our spirit? Our soul is our will, our mind, an entity that determines the choices we make. Our spirit? That is which is eternal, our spirit is US in a 'nutshell' (nutshell= body aka flesh). So, let us love God with our body (flesh), soul (will) and spirit (eternal life-force). Make the choice of your own free will. Choose the One who loves you above all else. Love Him because He is love. Because there is no greater love than His.
Now, all the universes...
all that which we can not see now...
awaits us for all eternity. He has said the no eye has seen nor imagined what awaits for those that love him. Those that freely choose to love him back.
This life is just a moment in eternity. But it is a crucial moment. This is our crossroads, we must choose our path. I, for one, am glad that I am not a robot. I'm glad that I have a choice.
Because it is all the more sweeter to say, "I love you too God!" The one who will make all things right in the end. The only One who will right all the wrongs that humankind has done, because they were given 'choices' to make.
I was once asked by my daughter, "If God is so good then why does he allow all the evil to happen in the world?"
Well, it's like this, if He smote all the people who were doing evil, then He would have to destroy the whole race. If he is a JUST God then he would be required to punish every sinner, and that would include all sin, which he has already said could even be lying or hatred or stealing along with murder. But of course, that would defeat the whole purpose of even creating Adam and Eve. So, He says, "Vengeance is mine, I shall repay!" And His judgement will come in His perfect timing.
She also asked, if God said for us not to be jealous, then why does He say he is a jealous God?
Because His being jealous is different than our being jealous. If you were a parent with a child that you loved dearly, and this child was approached by someone that you know meant him harm, and that child suddenly shows affection for this stranger. Would you not be 'jealous'? You would not only be jealous you would be furious with the stranger. This is how the difference is. God is jealous for our attentions, because He knows that He is what we need. He is jealous whenever we bow down to His creations like the sun, the moon, the stars, the trees, the rocks, even animals. Because they cannot be their god, He made those things! When the writers of the bible wrote this word 'jealous', it was either in Hebrew or Greek and the word was best described as 'jealous' in english, however it is certainly different from the green envy jealousy that we sometimes feel about another person.
How can we be so conceited to think that we could absolutely know how God thinks, or what God knows? How with our feeble minds of which we have only 10% use of, can we in our humanity come close to understanding the creator of all that exists? The One who has no beginning and no end? We can't even imagine a world without time! And yet the dimension(s) where God exists has no such boundaries as we are accustomed to. Perhaps when Jesus returns and our bodies are perfected (after all God has every DNA pattern of everything and every person that has or ever will walk the earth so why can't he recreate us all?) we will have 100% usage of our brains and then He could reveal the mysteries of all His creation and we could maybe understand it. I, for one, look forward to all that He is preparing for us. It is exciting to even let my mind imagine what I can! In the meantime though, I would love that everyone who does not know God and Jesus and His Holy Spirit, get to know them and love God with all their heart. God does not want anyone to be lost, but He will not force them to choose Him. And everyone will have a chance! All will know what Jesus has done for everyone both past, present and future. There will not be any who will not be given the choice. Because God IS the perfect judge. He alone knows the heart of a person. And he knew, from the beginning of time, what all our choices would be and will be. Because He is God. It is still our choice, even though He knows which choice we would make. Isn't He great? Isn't He indeed LOVE?
